After 13 Years: The Next Chapter for Nathan Markley Studios
On September 4, 2026, The Nathan Markley Show aired its final episode.
It's strange to write that sentence. The show started back in July 2013 — over a decade ago — and in that time it became the flagship of everything I've built under the Nathan Markley Studios name. Thirteen years of conversations, guests, ideas, and listeners who showed up episode after episode. I'm proud of what that show became, and I'm grateful to everyone who was part of it along the way.
But after 13 years, I've come to a decision: it's time to sunset the show and move on to something bigger.
Here's the thing, the goal was never really about one show. It was always about building something that could help other people find their own voice, too. That's the idea behind Nathan Markley Studios becoming a podcast network. Think of it like what Maker Studios did for creators on YouTube: a home base that helps people create, launch, and grow their own shows, rather than one person's name being the only thing on the marquee.
That network officially starts now, with The Inclusive Mic as its first show. It's a podcast built by three friends — each with our own personalities, experiences, and perspectives — who share one thing in common: a genuine love for helping others. The show brings together people with disabilities, disability advocates, and anyone who shares that same love, to create a space where everyone feels heard, valued, supported, and empowered.
The network also includes Markley Chats, a YouTube channel I started this past summer — a more personal space for photography, tech, ham radio, and honest conversations, including moments from my own life with autism.
Alongside the network launch, I'm introducing two ways for businesses and individuals to get involved: Amplify, host-read sponsorships woven directly into episodes, and Spotlight, full guest interviews for those who want to share their story or work with our audience directly. Both are available network-wide, starting with The Inclusive Mic — with more shows on the way.
Endings are hard, even good ones. But this one feels right. After 13 years of The Nathan Markley Show, I'm not stepping away from podcasting — I'm stepping into something that can do more than one show ever could: helping other people find their voice, one podcast at a time.
Thank you for 13 years. I can't wait to show you what's next.
Best,
Nathan
